- How long is a session? What does one typical session look like?
Each session is about 45 minutes to an hour. We start with each session by checking in on takeaways from the previous session and any learning that has taken place since. We then spend the majority of the session on a topic that you brought. I ask a series of questions to help you deepen your self-awareness, get “unstuck”, and have better clarity. In the end, I will challenge you to commit to tangible actions that will move you towards your vision, which I will hold you accountable to and follow up with you in the next session. This cycle of development self-awareness and taking actions makes transformation possible.
- . How often do we meet?
I typically meet with my clients 3 times a month in order fully support them through their growth journey. However, I’m open to customizing based on individual needs.
- Does coaching have to be done in person?
No. Most of my coaching is actually done on the phone. However, if you would rather meet in person, I’m happy to have a discussion with you.
- How long do we work together for?
Transformation is a marathon, not a sprint. In order to have lasting, sustainable growth, you and I will work together for a minimum period of 6 months. During that time we will continuously refine our coaching alliance to meet your needs.
- What is the difference between coaching and therapy?
Both coaches and therapists focus on the client’s whole life and helping the client grow and transform. The main difference is that coaching focuses on the present and the future – where you are now, where do you want to go, and how to get there. Therapy focuses on the past and on healing emotional wounds.
